Post subject:  Alting

An alternate character is precisely that. A different character, whose history, actions, and knowledge should be kept separate from other characters. IC knowledge does not transmit magically from one to another, nor should OOC knowledge creep into RP.

You should keep the interaction between your various characters to a minimum, and the abilities of one character should not be used to assist another. Likewise, funds (credits in Atas's case) should not be considered communal- Thus, transferring credits between two of your characters, one character healing another of your characters, and other such interactions are considered alt abuse and may earn you a warning. Further violation may merit banning from the guild.

You are not required to tell anyone your alts, unless they are a member of the council. A council member should only require that a player reveal their alts in the case of suspected alting abuse, in which case the player is obliged to answer.

You should not harass anyone in an attempt to find out their alts. There's no earthly reason you should need to know the various characters another player uses, unless you are a council member trying to make sure no one's cheating.
